Consortium Procurement Framework Success

EFT Systems Ltd have been awarded to Consortium Procurements Property Safety and Security Framework.

EFT have demonstrated superior quality and pricing structures providing best value which has culminated in EFT being ranked as the number one contractor across several of the lots and disciplines.

Through being ranked as the #1 contractor, works can be awarded directly to EFT without having to go through expensive and long winded procurement processes whilst complying with stringent OJEU regulations.

Consortium Procurement recently retendered the existing Fire Safety framework. While maintaining the coverage of the previous framework, the scope has been widened and now includes other key elements of Property Safety and Security such as CCTV, Intruder alarms and Door Entry Systems.

The framework includes goods, services and minor works in support of property, resident and asset protection; it will enable Northern Housing Consortium Members to maintain safe and secure neighbourhoods and work environments. The key aim of this framework is to provide cost effective solutions in the face of current economic constraints. It ensures Members maintain compliance with legislation, and in particular the regulations governing fire safety and the assessment, reduction or removal of risk. To achieve this, all equipment and services available under this framework meet appropriate industry standards in terms of quality and functionality. In addition, supply partners must hold recognised industry accreditation and registrations via independent audit.

Key Benefits of the Framework

• Flexible menu of services and options that are designed to suit a range of organisational requirements

• Flexible call-off options

• Contract performance indicators and monitoring

• Competitive pricing matrix designed to deliver ‘more for less’

 • 4 year EU compliant framework agreement

 • Available to all current and future members of the NHC

As each Member’s requirements are unique, this framework benefits from a number of flexible access options, including ranked suppliers, direct award and the use of further competition.

The framework is structured in specific lots:

Lot 1: Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting

Lot 2: Fire Safety Equipment

Lot 3: Property (including Fire) Risk Assessments

Lot 4: CCTV Systems

Lot 5: Door Entry & Access Control Systems
